The Rotary Club of New Westminster

Project Support Application Guidelines

The Rotary Club of New Westminster was organized and chartered in 1928. Our club participates in

a number of fund raising activities with in the New Westminster community. These funds are used to

support many local and international projects. Our mandate is to provide assistance within a variety of

areas such as 

•             Education

•             Fine arts/Performing arts

•             Sports/recreation

•             Seniors needs

•             Youth needs

•             Social needs

•             Others

FUNDING INTERESTS:

The Project Committee’s purpose is to review funding requests and make recommendations to the

Board of Directors. A preference is given to Capital projects over operational projects. Geographic scope

is New Westminster with consideration given to surrounding communities.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES AND DEADLINES:

Please submit your letter of request and include the following information:

·         Organization name, address & phone number

·         Contact name and title

·         Brief history of your organization

·         Brief project description

·         Amount of contribution sought

·         How the donation will be used

·         Who will benefit from your project or program

·         Please include your most current financial statement

·         Describe how your group will recognize the Rotary Club of New Westminster’s contribution

There is no deadline for applications. You will receive a reply within 2 month of receipt of your request.
